Clinical Research Networks

The iSAEC has established the three major international clinical networks to aggregate well phenotyped SAE for its GWAS studies.  They are profiled below.

  • International Drug-Induced Liver Network (iDILIC) under the direction of Ann Daly, PhD at Newcastle University (England).  The participating investigators and their respective phase 2 DILI case contributions are listed below.  To date, over 1,300 DILI cases have been recruited for our research.

  • International Hypersensitivity / Skin Injury Network (ITCH) under the direction of Munir Pirmohamed, MD at Liverpool University (England).  The participating investigators and their respective phase 2 DISI case contributions are listed below.  To date, over 1,330 DISI cases have been recruited for our research.

  • International Drug-Induced Renal Injury Network (DIRECT) under the direction of Ravi Mahta, MD at University of California at San Diego (UCSD).  The DIRECT Network will aggregate adult and pediatric DIRI cases over the next two years.  The participating sites are summarized below:

The iSAEC thanks all of its research collaborators for their efforts and contributions to our efforts to understand the genetic/molecular basis of drug induced serious adverse events.
